My name is James Richard Oliver and this is my story.

Once upon a time a beautiful boy was born to a very happy and well adjusted family. They lived in a beautiful house with a white fence and a dog named Oscar Meyer. The boy really enjoyed school and had lots and lots of friends... i was not one of them.

As a kid i mostly sat in my room reading Creem magazines and listening to KISS records. I eventually put together a band called The Boonies. We were very good at three things. Drinking beer, pissing and playing very loud and obnoxious rock n' roll. All of these things went hand in hand. Especially the drinking and pissing.

Well, one day The Boonies called it quits. Now, some may say it was artistic differences but Ithink it was because Tom was a little freeloading peckerhead who constantly stole and drank bottles of Robotussin just to stay high. Anyhow, I was getting pretty tired of the whole band experience. The boonies being the latest in a long line of failed attempts. So, i decided to start a label and record my own songs.

In 1992, armed with no more than a cassette four-track and a few beers, Illbilly records was born. Psychotic Hillbilly Rock n' Roll is Illbilly's ninth and latest release. Everything was recorded in my living room a.k.a. the gutbucket lounge. It ain't slick but it's cheap!
