Colin has been quickly working his way towards establishing himself as one of independent music’s most ambitious and versatile recording and mixing engineers. As a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, he approaches record-making from a musician’s standpoint — focusing on dynamic arrangements and inspired performances — to produce recordings that showcase the very best of any artist or band.

Shortly after graduating from San Francisco State University’s Music and Recording Industry program, Colin built his own studio in the San Francisco South of Market district. There he honed his engineering skills by recording and producing records for a variety of bay area artists and bands. His unique production abilities soon caught the attention of those outside the local scene, and led him to a position working as head engineer of a multi-million dollar studio in Southern California.

Nearly a decade and over a thousand songs later, Colin is continuing to follow his muse. His most recent success is the groundbreaking self-titled album for Toca featuring L.A.’s brightest new talent, which includes members of Anonymous INC, Xololanxino, Tommy Valencia, Two Mex, Pigeon John, Ellay Khule, Aceyalone and Bus Driver. He is currently working as a freelance engineer with independent musicians and labels across the country.
