From LORD LITTER - Germany

STYLE... Progressive Rock

Compiled 2000 for Homemademusic.Com. When Bryan Baker invited me to produce a *best of* Lord Litter for Homemademusic.Com. I knew that I would love to do it but I also realised pretty soon that I had no idea how to do it. I had just left my band. We *were on the road* for 9 years. Started as Rock'n Roll/Country rock outfit and ended as a harsh R & B trio. I was so far away from my solo music ... I felt lost. Then in early 2000 Chris Phinney re-released my tape "Litter's Reel All Itty" on CD. I had recorded this for his Harsh Reality label in 1989. I started sending out copies 'n first positive reactions turned up. After sending it to the Stone Premonitions label in England, they asked if they if they could do a "Stone Premonitions present Lord Litter" CD using material from "Reel All Itty" and all kind of releases I had sent them. Boy was I happy ... they did an increcible job remastering and compiling and I loved the result. So did others .. positive reactions from all over. Also from people I *met* during my band years, who had no idea about my *old sound*. Suddenly *it clicked* and within three days I found and refreshed all the songs I needed to present "Had me a real good time". It turned out to be more than a *best of* ... my 4-track finally broke completely, so I could'nt do the usual always the same songs *best of*, I had to use all kind of finished masters I found and I found quite some .. so this is more like *the Lost Lord Litter album*. Yeah - I had me a real good time when I recorded the songs and had me a real good time while listening to my past and compiling this release.
