Soundscapes was created for the performance art piece, Chaotic Art Circus. The music explores the themes of first contact, assimilation and the struggles that arise when two cultures/species interact.

"Chaos Is Your Destiny's new collection of "Soundscapes" were written as an accompaniment to The Chaotic Art Circus, a "multifaceted artistic rendition of first contact - the initial meeting of human and alien civilizations". From the opening track "We Are Here", each composition fits seamlessly with the titles and concept of humanity at a threshold in conveying the sense of awe and trepidation that would come with such an event.

Carl Jung's quote "In all chaos there is a secret cosmos, in all disorder a secret order" best describes Chaos Is Your Destiny's music. Chaos Is Your Destiny explores this musical chaos not through darkness, dissonance and turmoil but with sounds of asymmetrical iridescent electrosonics playing against the spectrum of the musical and non-musical, organic and synthetic, order and disorder. Nonlinear, right brain creativity, balanced against the rhythm of the body and the serene inevitability of entropy is put into music that stimulates the fundamental dynamic order present in the physiology of the brain as well as the chaos residing in consciousness.

Combining amorphous loops culled from fractal music generators, synthesizer, traditional live instrumentation such as guitar and drums, vocals, found organic and environmental sounds, Chaos Is Your Destiny's music on Soundscapes ranges in style from ambient to beat driven. The total effect is a truly original sound with experimental touches that is more in tune with the pioneers of modern electronic music than the bandwagon of current electronica groups styles and conventions. Although direct comparisons would fall wide of the mark, I have this release filed between my Eno and Chris & Cosey/Creative Technology Institute collection. " --M. W. Siereveld
